# Drafts

The **Drafts** section in Incident Tracker allows users to save incomplete reports and return to them later for completion and submission. This feature is particularly useful when you need to gather additional information before finalizing a report.

***

## Accessing Drafts

To access your saved drafts:

1. Navigate to **Submit Report.**
2. Click the **View Drafts** button near the top of the page.
3. This will load a list of all your saved drafts.

{% hint style="info" %}
Only the user who created the draft can view and edit it.
{% endhint %}

***

## Managing Drafts

From the Drafts page, you can:

* **Open a Draft**: Click on the draft title or ID to open and continue editing.
* **Delete a Draft**: If a draft is no longer needed, select the delete option to remove it.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Deleting a draft is permanent and cannot be undone.
{% endhint %}

***

## Submitting a Draft

Once you've completed all necessary information in a draft:

1. Open the draft report.
2. Review all entered data for accuracy.
3. Click **Submit** to finalize and officially log the report into the system.

{% hint style="warning" %}
After submission, the report moves from the Drafts section to the main Reports list and follows the standard workflow processes.
{% endhint %}
